Craig Howard

Deputy Director at Montgomery County Government

Craig Howard is an experienced professional in public policy analysis and program evaluation. Currently serving as the Deputy Director for the Montgomery County Government since November 2011, Craig leads project teams and supervises employees in conducting independent evaluations and policy analyses. Prior experience includes serving as a Legislative Analyst with the Office of Legislative Oversight for the Montgomery County Council from 2002 to 2011, where Craig completed complex public policy studies to inform elected officials and senior staff. Earlier roles include Planning and Management Analyst for Ottawa County Government, where evaluations of county programs were prioritized. Craig holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan.
