Alexander Graham has a strong work background in policy management and research. Alexander started their career as an Industrial Placement Analytical Chemist at 3M Health Care in 2007. Alexander then moved on to Heriot-Watt University in 2012, where they held various research roles, including Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Associate. In these positions, they led research in oil-field chemistry and worked closely with international oil companies on projects influencing operational decisions. Since 2021, Alexander has been working at Ofgem, initially as a Policy Manager and currently as a Senior Policy Manager.
Alexander Graham attended the University of Dundee from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Following that, they went on to study at the University of Edinburgh from 2009 to 2012, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Inorganic/Physical Chemistry.
