Sharon Govender is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in legal research and support roles within the judiciary. Currently serving as a Senior Law Researcher at the Office of the Chief Justice for KwaZulu-Natal High Courts since October 2015, Sharon provides critical research assistance and is involved in improving court efficiency while training junior researchers. Prior to this role, Sharon held similar research positions at the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and worked in editorial capacities at LexisNexis South Africa. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Business Law and numerous certificates in policy formulation and ethics from the National School of Government.
