Carlos Cornejo González has a diverse work experience in the field of game development and design. Carlos is currently a Game Designer at Odders Lab since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Game Developer from 2013 until 2021, where they focused on indie and experimental game projects, taking on various roles such as game designer, programmer, and artist. In 2020, Carlos worked as a Game Design Teacher at Aula Arcade, where they taught students how to prototype their own game designs using Unity. Carlos also has experience as a Researcher at Universidad de Sevilla from 2018 to 2019, where they worked on analyzing cultural heritage through X-ray fluorescence. Additionally, Carlos has worked as a Computer Engineer at Ayuntamiento de Sevilla in 2017 and as a Computer Engineer Intern at Instituto de Microelectrónica de Sevilla IMSE-CNM from 2014 to 2015, where they developed a biometric recognition system based on fingerprints.
Carlos Cornejo González began their education in 1999 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música - Francisco Guerrero, where they obtained a Grado Elemental de Música in Violonchelo in 2003. Carlos continued their education at the Universidad de Sevilla from 2007 to 2015, majoring in IngenierÃa informática and earning a degree in IngenierÃa.
In addition to their formal education, Carlos has also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed courses in the Business of Games and Entrepreneurship, Story and Narrative Development for Video Games, and Introduction to Game Design through Coursera. In 2018, they obtained a Licencia de operador de instalaciones radiactivas - Control de procesos, técnicas analÃticas y actividades bajo riesgo from the Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear.
