Jashua Sa-Ra is an experienced professional in the arts and wellness sectors, serving as the Owner of the Lyricalympics Festival since August 2017, which focuses on competitive language and cultural engagement in Brooklyn. In addition to this role, Jashua has contributed as a Teaching Artist and Anthology Specialist with Community-Word Project since September 2012 and as a Communications Artist with Earthiopia Works since January 2010. Previous positions include Teaching Artist at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Artistic Director at Nicholas Brooklyn, and Wellness Artist with Nicholas Brooklyn Healing Circle.
