John Whittle is a seasoned firmware engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and storage solutions sectors. Currently serving as Principal Firmware Engineer at OCZ Storage Solutions, a Toshiba Group Company, since May 2014, John has previously functioned as a Software Consultant specializing in physical layer firmware design from March 2009 to February 2014. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Infineon Technologies, where John provided technical leadership for 2.5G physical layer development, and Software Team Lead at Agere Systems, overseeing the establishment of a GSM Design Centre in the UK. Additional experience includes software engineering for early GSM mobiles at AEG Mobile Communications and various hardware and software projects at Racal Research Ltd. John holds a BA(Hons) 2:1 degree in Electrical Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
