Hank Calzaretta has over 40 years of experience in the mainframe industry. Hank began their career in 1976 as a Lead Computer Operator at the University of Illinois Administrative Computer Center. In 1978, they were promoted to Research Programmer at the same organization. In 1982, they joined Time Inc. as a Senior Systems Specialist. Hank then moved to Business Information Group in 1988 as a Senior Systems Programmer, followed by GIS Information Systems in 1989 in the same role. In 1997, they joined Platinum Technology as a Senior Systems Programmer and moved to RR Donnelley in 1999 as a Technical Architect. In 2005, they transitioned to Acxiom as a Senior Systems Programmer and then to IBM in 2007 as a z/VM and z Systems Linux Specialist and z Systems IT Architect. In 2017, they joined Ocient as a Senior Software Engineer.

Hank Calzaretta attended Elmhurst University from 1989 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
