Scott Courtney has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and industries. Scott started their career as a Security and Systems Administrator at Dow Jones Markets / Telerate in 1998 and worked there until 1999. After that, they joined Greenwich Technology Partners as a Consulting Engineer and stayed with them until 2004.
In 2004, Scott transitioned to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as a Systems Engineer and remained in this role until 2011. Scott then moved to Net Spectro LLC in 2012, where they served as a Consulting Engineer / Principle until 2015.
In 2013, Scott took on a new opportunity as a Consultant at Columbus Consulting International and worked there until 2015. Finally, they joined OceanFirst Bank in 2015 and is currently serving as an Assistant Vice President, Information Technology.

Scott Courtney completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at the University of Minnesota from 1977 to 1981. Scott then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry at the University of Chicago from 1982 to 1987. Following this, they engaged in a Post Doc program at AT&T Bell Labs and the University of New Mexico from 1987 to 1989, focusing on Laser Spectroscopy and Biochemical Studies.
