Daniel Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Daniel currently holds the position of Vice President of Commercial Operations at ObvioHealth since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development and Marketing Manager for Latin America at Hogan Lovells from July 2017 to July 2019, where they focused on acquiring strategic new clients and increasing work with existing clients. Daniel also played a key role in rolling out a client program in the region. Before Hogan Lovells, they worked at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP as a Business Development professional in the Corporate Practice Energy Latin America from May 2016 to July 2017, where they developed a strategic business plan and targeted clients in Latin America. Earlier in their career, they held the position of VP Global Marketing at Citi, where they played a pivotal role in product launches and new account openings. Daniel also worked as a Marketing and Business Development Deputy Director at TRADE COMMISSION, collaborating with large Chilean companies and leading marketing campaigns in the US. Furthermore, they established their own trading company, selling Chilean wine in the Chinese market, and held leadership positions in procurement and business development at SOCOFAR / Mintlab and SOCOFAR / Cruz Verde. Daniel began their career as an intern at the Chilean Ministry of Health, where they evaluated purchasing projects and conducted customer satisfaction studies. Overall, Daniel Martinez has a strong background in business development, marketing, and strategic planning across various industries.

Daniel Martinez obtained their MBA in Marketing-Finance from NYU Stern School of Business from 2011 to 2013. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at PONTIFICAL CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF VALPARAISO - CHILE, earning a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Strategy and Marketing between 1996 and 2001.
