Fabrizio Gianni is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics (OGS) since May 2018, specializing in species distribution and environmental factors influencing marine community dynamics through advanced statistical methods and habitat suitability models. Previously, Fabrizio served as an Assistant Lecturer at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis, instructing students in marine biology, statistics, and phycology. Fabrizio completed a PhD in Marine Ecology with a focus on the conservation and ecological restoration of Mediterranean marine forests. Additional experience includes internship roles at the International Ocean Institute of Malta and the University of Salento, and a position as a Naturalist Guide for Touring Club Italiano. Educational qualifications include a PhD from Université Côte d'Azur, a Master's degree from the University of Bologna, and a Bachelor's degree from Sapienza Università di Roma.
