Brad Hanson possesses extensive experience in outdoor education, guiding, and instructional roles. Currently serving as Course Director and Field Instructor at Colorado Outward Bound School since June 2013, Brad also guides multi-day river adventures for O.A.R.S. Companies, Inc., and instructs survival skills as an Apprentice Instructor at Boulder Outdoor Survival School. Past roles include community liaison work for the University of Missouri's geography department, enrichment leadership for the BEACON Afterschool Program, and various positions in environmental education and construction. Brad holds a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Oregon State University, complemented by an associate degree in History from Southwestern Oregon Community College.
