Stine Granum has a diverse work experience in the field of immunology and research. Stine is currently the Director and Head of Vaccine Discovery at Nykode Therapeutics, a position they assumed in October 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Associate Director of Oncology Research at the same company from September 2020. Stine has also served as an RD Manager/Senior Scientist and a Senior Scientist at Nykode Therapeutics, starting in November 2018 and August 2015 respectively.
Before joining Nykode Therapeutics, Stine worked as an Engineer at the Department of Immunology at the Institute for Cancer Research, Oslo University Hospital from January 2015 to July 2015. Stine previously held a similar position at IMB, Department of Anatomy from August 2014 to December 2014.
Stine's research career began at the University of Oslo, where they worked as a Researcher and a Postdoc from 2006 to 2011 and 2008 to 2011 respectively. Their research focused on T cell signaling and cross-talk in T cell activation. Stine continued their research as a Researcher at the University of Oslo from 2011 to March 2014, building upon their PhD and Postdoc projects.
Stine Granum has a strong educational background in the field of Immunology. Stine obtained their PhD. (Doctor of Philosophy) in Immunology, with a specialization in T cell signalling, from the University of Oslo (UiO) between 2000 and 2006. Prior to their doctoral studies, Stine completed a degree in Cell Biology and Immunology, known as "Cand. Scient," from the University of Oslo from 1998 to 2000. Stine also holds a bachelor's degree in Biology, referred to as "Cand.Mag," from the University of Oslo, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.
