Brooke Jacoby is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and customer service. Currently serving as a Paraprofessional at NYC DOE since April 2015, Brooke has demonstrated a strong ability to motivate and effectively communicate with students, particularly in special education settings. Prior to this role, Brooke owned and operated Comedic Crafts, showcasing entrepreneurial skills from October 2020 to August 2023, and held various positions including Cashier at PetSmart and CVS Pharmacy. Early career experiences include roles as a Camp Counselor and a Student Teaching Intern at the Indiana School for the Deaf, where Brooke focused on grades 1-12. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Special and Deaf education and a minor in Social Work from Ball State University, complemented by a solid educational foundation from Herricks High School.
