Deev Patel is a Staff Software Engineer at Nuro, starting in January 2021, focusing on the development of autonomous vehicle technology. Prior to this role, Deev held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, working on behavior systems and prediction & planning, respectively. Deev gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Ike, developing C++ code for autonomous trucks, and contributed to real-time C++ applications in the Autonomous Robotics Lab at the University of Nevada, Reno. Earlier experience includes a Software Development Intern role at BlueCart, where Deev helped maintain a Java-based mobile application. Deev holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
