Christophe Hillion is an accomplished legal academic with extensive experience in European law and integration. Currently serving as a Professor of Law at the University of Oslo and a Research Professor at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, Hillion has held prominent roles at various institutions, including Senior Researcher at SIEPS and Professor of European Law at Universiteit Leiden. Additional appointments include Professorships at the University of Gothenburg and Stockholm University, as well as visiting professorships at the College of Europe and the European Studies Institute. Hillion holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from Leiden University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Advanced European Studies from the College of Europe, and a Diplome d'Etudes Approfondies in European Law from Université de Rennes I.
