Gabriela Cortez has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in social work, education, and community outreach. Currently serving as an Outreach and Enrollment specialist at Nuestra Clinica Del Valle since August 2020, Gabriela provides eligibility and enrollment assistance in Hidalgo County. Previous roles include a temporary teaching position at Region One Education Service Center and various positions within education and social services, such as a Senior Wilderness Field Instructor and Social Work Intern. Gabriela holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas State University.
