Mor Matalon has a strong background in data science, cybersecurity, and research. Currently, Mor is working as a Senior Data Scientist at Nucleai, where they are focusing on predicting survival in lung cancer patients undergoing immunotherapy treatment. They are leading a research project that utilizes complex oncology data from various sources to build a survival model, which has seen remarkable success. Prior to this role, Mor worked at Guardicore as a Data Scientist and Cyber Security Researcher. During their time there, they led a project on automatically predicting entities' roles in customers' networks based on communication data, and were involved in the entire project lifecycle from ideation to monitoring. Mor also has experience in the military, specifically in the IDF, where they held roles such as Security Team Leader and Project Manager, and Security Researcher and Research Team Leader. In these positions, Mor led large-scale technological projects and research in various areas of cybersecurity, and conducted computer forensics.
Mor Matalon attended the University of Haifa from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and the History of the Middle East.
