Arkesh Narayanappa is a scientist with extensive experience in the field of organic chemistry and medicinal synthesis. Currently employed at NuChem Sciences since August 2022, Arkesh has previously held positions at X-Chem, Inc. as a Research Scientist and at Syngene International Limited as an Associate Scientist. Arkesh's expertise includes multistep synthesis of medicinally active organic and heterocyclic molecules, literature searches for synthesis methods, and the isolation and purification of synthesized compounds using advanced techniques. Additional experience includes work at IntelliSyn R&D and AstraZeneca India Ltd, with a focus on developing methodologies for drug synthesis in areas such as oncology and cardiovascular health. Arkesh began career at Biocon as a Jr. Executive, concentrating on the isolation and purification of human insulin. Arkesh holds a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from McMaster University and two Master's Degrees in Chemistry from Bangalore University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Botany, and Biotechnology.
