Manisha Rathod is a finance and risk management professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Director of Finance and Director of Risk Management at NRG Energy since May 2008, Manisha has developed a strong expertise in these areas. Prior to this role, Manisha worked as an Associate in Commodities Prime Brokerage at Credit Suisse First Boston from April 2006 to May 2008, and as a Trade Floor Analyst and Power Scheduler at Exelon Power Team between June 2004 and April 2006. Early career experiences include positions at PJM Interconnection as a co-op in Performance Compliance and Capacity Adequacy Planning from September 2002 to June 2004, and as a Market Monitoring co-op in 2000. Manisha holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Drexel University, completed in 2004.
