Kathryn Smith-Petersen is an experienced Manager and Team Lead in Human Factors Engineering, with a background in Systems Engineering and Product Development. Kathryn has worked at companies like Novocure, Abbott, and Thoratec (now part of St. Jude Medical), and has also held roles as a Senior Research Assistant and Research Assistant at Trinity College, where Kathryn conducted experiments related to memory and learning functions in rats. Kathryn holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Biomechanical Concentration from Trinity College.
