Richard Newbould has extensive work experience in various roles related to business and technical analysis. Richard started their career in 2005 at British Telecom (BT), where they held positions as a Lead Capability Designer and Business Analyst for internet-related applications. In this role, they specified, designed, and directed technical work involving teams in both the UK and India.
In 2008, they joined Intershore Services as a Technical Business Analyst and Project Lead, managing computer education center setup projects in India and Thailand. Richard also led a team of developers in producing an e-learning platform.
From 2010 to 2011, Richard worked at Intershore as a Technical Business Analyst, Consultant, and Projects Lead. During this time, they architected, designed, and delivered challenging web application projects for UK clients, including a customized community portal and an online child sponsorship system.
In 2013, Richard joined Willis Towers Watson (WTW) as a Business Analyst, acting mainly as a Senior Data Analyst and Stream Lead. Richard provided a range of services within WTW to enhance, adapt, and transform IT systems. Richard led a project on automating aspects of data analysis and User Acceptance Testing, reducing project costs by at least 30%. Richard also played a key role in adapting business-critical interfaces following Waterfall and Agile models.
Richard then worked at DXC (Xchanging) as a Technical Business Analyst from 2017 to 2018. Richard also worked at r10 Consulting as a Business Analyst during the same period.
In 2019, Richard held positions at Web Connectivity and Intershore Services as a Technical Business/Data Analyst and a Technical Business Analyst, respectively.
Most recently, Richard has joined Novidea as a Senior Business Analyst (Technical) in 2022.

Richard Newbould attended the University of Cambridge from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained an MA degree in Natural Sciences with a focus on Physics and Theoretical Physics. Following this, from 1995 to 1999, they pursued a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of London, with a specialization in Software, Networks, and Internet Applications.
