Koen Schobbers is a prominent figure in the gaming and esports industry, serving as the founder of Koenz since 2006, where focus lies on integrating gaming strategies for organizations. In addition, Koen is a keynote speaker with over 200 global events since 2016 and the founder of Parents of Play, an organization aimed at strengthening parent-child relationships within gaming contexts. As vice chair of the Athletes & Players Commission at the Global Esports Federation, Koen represents international esports athletes, while also partnering with the Dutch Esports Academy to support aspiring esports athletes. Furthermore, Koen serves as a presenter and esports expert for NOS and has previously held roles including ambassador for Acer and presenter at FOX Sports. With experience as a competitive esports athlete from 2007 to 2018, including a notable third place at the Trackmania World Championships, Koen Schobbers combines practical expertise with a strong academic background, holding degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Medicine.
