Adrian Caruthers is an experienced professional currently serving as the LMS Distance Education Support Coordinator at Northwest Shoals Community College, leading the transition from Blackboard to Canvas since March 2024. With an extensive background in instructional design at NashWest Creatives, Adrian collaborates with instructors and subject matter experts to enhance Canvas course experiences across various formats and develops training for faculty on effective virtual classroom applications. Previous roles include Customer Success Manager at Walgreens, where Adrian focused on building strong customer relationships and improving support documentation, and Training and People Development Manager at Compass Group Chartwells, where Adrian developed training content that significantly increased brand exposure and sales. Adrian also has experience as a Training Lead at Delaware North, where team leadership and tailored training programs were central responsibilities. Adrian holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology & Design and a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies, both from the University of North Alabama.
