David Smoller has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. David is currently the Head of Resiliency & Third-Party Risk Management at Northwest Bank since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ansys from October 2020 to July 2022, where they held the position of Vendor Risk and Relationship Management. From January 2017 to October 2020, David worked at BNY Mellon, focusing on Third Party Operational Risk Management. David was Vice President at PNC from August 2011 to January 2017, overseeing Program Management. Earlier in their career, David held the role of Vice President Project Manager at BNY Mellon from July 2000 to July 2011.
David Smoller earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh in the period from 1997 to 2002. In 2004, they also obtained a Master Certificate in Project Management from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. Furthermore, in July 2019, David Smoller obtained a certification as a Certified Third Party Risk Professional from Shared Assessments.
