Simon Palmer is an experienced financial professional currently serving as a Private Banking Manager at ASB Bank since March 2023. With a background in finance and law, Simon previously held the position of Director of Faculty Finance at The University of Auckland from February 2022 to February 2023. Simon's extensive experience at ASB Bank includes roles as Head of Group Financial Reporting and Senior Manager of Statutory & Regulatory Reporting from January 2019 to January 2022. Prior to joining ASB Bank, Simon spent over a decade at PwC, progressing from Senior Associate to Senior Manager within the Audit and Assurance Group, specializing in financial services. Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Laws with honors from The University of Auckland, and is a Chartered Accountant.
