Salvatore (Sam) T. has extensive work experience as a research scientist in various institutions. Salvatore (Sam) began their career as a postdoctoral researcher at The National Institutes of Health from September 2013 to August 2018. Subsequently, they worked as a research scientist at Phoenix Children's Hospital from September 2018 to April 2019. Salvatore (Sam) then joined the University of California, Berkeley from April 2019 to March 2022, where they continued their role as a research scientist. During this time, they also worked as a research scientist at ADVANCED MRI TECHNOLOGIES LLC from April 2019 to March 2022. In 2022, Salvatore joined neuro42 as an MRI scientist in April, and concurrently worked as a research scientist at NCIRE - The Northern California Institute for Research and Education, starting in April 2022.

Salvatore (Sam) T. completed their education history with a strong academic background. Salvatore (Sam) started their journey in 2001 at the California Institute of the Arts, where they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in computer music composition. After graduating from there in 2003, they moved on to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) to continue their studies.

At UCLA, Salvatore pursued a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from 2005 to 2007. After completing this program, they furthered their education at UCLA by undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience, which they successfully completed in 2013.
