Robert Barneveld has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Robert started as an Assistant Lecturer at Wageningen University in 2003 and later worked as a Project Facilitator for VSO in Papua New Guinea from 2005 to 2007. Robert then served as a Programme Officer at ICCO's Institutional Donor Desk from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they worked as a Consultant at Odal Consultancy, and also briefly as a Lecturer at Wageningen University. From 2009 onwards, they joined Wageningen University as a PhD Researcher, focusing on gully erosion. Currently, they work as a Researcher at NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research since 2012.
Robert Barneveld obtained their MSc degree in Tropical Land Use from Wageningen University & Research, where they studied from 1996 to 2003.
