Wayne Barker is an experienced psychiatric nurse with a comprehensive background in mental health and nursing. Currently serving at Beverly Hospital since June 2017, Wayne has worked with patients across a variety of psychiatric diagnoses and has held roles including Assistant Director and Clinical Director for the psychiatric unit. Previous positions include Clinical Nurse Manager at Nizhoni Health, overseeing a team of registered nurses and managing patient care coordination, as well as various nursing roles at Nizhoni Health Systems and Melrose/Wakefield Hospital, where Wayne provided both physical and psychiatric care to diverse patient populations. Wayne holds a Master of Science in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Regis College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University.
