Brittany Williams is an accomplished tax auditor with extensive experience at the North Carolina Department of Revenue since April 2016, where Brittany audits over 500 tax returns weekly, addresses complex issues with researched solutions, and generates significant savings for the state. Prior to this role, Brittany worked as an assistant accountant at the Eastern Area Health Education Center, effectively balancing departmental budgets and performing financial forecasting. Earlier experience includes a supervisory position at the American Pools Association, where Brittany significantly improved safety standards. Brittany holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Saint Joseph's College and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from East Carolina University.
