Erin Gallagher

Erin Gallagher has extensive experience in library and information science, currently serving as a Systems Integration Librarian and Digital Description Archivist at the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources since August 2019. Prior roles include Digital Research Librarian at the US Environmental Protection Agency, Records and Information Management Intern at the American Board of Pediatrics, and various positions focused on born-digital processing and research assistance at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina system. Gallagher's background also includes administrative roles in both private and public sectors, and a focus on managing and preserving information. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Archives and Records Management from UNC School of Information and Library Science and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Appalachian State University.
