Myra Carr is an experienced educational professional currently serving as Department Chair at Sugar Creek Charter School since July 2023, where responsibilities include instructional coaching, curriculum development, and faculty evaluation. In addition, Myra has been a Curriculum Developer at Levine Museum of the New South since 2022, focusing on creating tailored curriculum and data-driven research for school districts. Previous roles include Instructional Specialist/Teacher at Charlotte Lab School and Social Studies Teacher at both Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Gaston County Schools. Myra holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both from the University of Mary Washington.
