Peter Connell's work experience began at Bank of America in 2007, where they worked as a Team Manager until February 2010. Following this, they joined Covidien as a Team Lead/Supervisor from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2017, Peter worked at East Side Enterprises as an Assistant Operations Manager. Since November 2017, Peter has held the role of Yard Operations Manager at North Atlantic Distribution (NORAD).

Peter Connell's education history begins in 1987 when they attended Smithfield High School. Peter did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during their time there. After graduating from high school, Peter attended the Community College of Rhode Island from 1991 to 1993. During this period, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Criminal Justice. Following their time at the community college, Peter transferred to Rhode Island College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Justice Studies from 1993 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Peter Connell has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became an Accredited Interscholastic Coach through the National Federation of State High School Associations. Peter also completed training in CPR/AED/First Aid through the American Red Cross in the same year. Additionally, they obtained NCAA Eligibility certification. In 2019, Peter completed ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training through Polaris MEP.
