Geir Sveen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software development and IT industry spanning over two decades. Geir began their career at Cell Network as a Senior Consultant, where they worked on internet auction and shop solutions for clients such as Online Club and Dinside Auksjon. Geir then joined Computer Associates Norge AS as an Implementation Consultant, where they engaged in presale activities and technical sales of portal and integration solutions.

Geir later joined Telenor Norge AS as a Senior Consultant, working on various projects related to IT service management and infrastructure consolidation. Geir also served as a Senior Advisor at Kerfi Norge, where they provided BI consultation and implemented data warehouse solutions for Ergo Group.

In 2007, Geir joined WebOn AS as a Senior Architect, responsible for designing and implementing ecommerce and Product Information Management solutions for clients like Samlerhuset and Eaton. Geir worked on WebOn's core framework architecture and development.

Geir then joined Visma Retail Software AS as an Asset Manager BI, where they led a team of developers and oversaw the architecture and management of Business Intelligence solutions. Following that, they worked at Integrasjonssystemer AS as a Developer, creating solutions for various clients and utilizing technologies such as Java, Kotlin, and Docker.

Geir's career also includes roles at iStone and Columbus Norge, where they worked as a Senior System Developer and Architect. Geir developed E-Commerce solutions for clients like Vinmonopolet and Ekornes, specializing in SAP Hybris.

Most recently, Geir joined Noria as a Senior Consultant, focusing on the Claims domain and specializing in web development using the PARIS rest API. Geir has worked with clients like Gard, the leading marine insurer.

Throughout their career, Geir has gained extensive experience with technologies such as Java, Spring, SAP Commerce (Hybris), MS SQL Server, and various web development frameworks.

Geir Sveen attended Atlanten Videregående skole from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained an Artium degree. From 1993 to 1995, they attended Universitetet i Oslo and studied Informatikk. In addition to their formal education, Geir Sveen also obtained a certification as a SAP Certified Development Professional - SAP Commerce Cloud 1811 Developer from SAP SE in August 2019.
