Manager Of Microgrid Engineering at NORESCO

Michael Kennedy PE, CEM, LEED AP serves as the Manager of Microgrid Engineering at NORESCO since November 2006, previously holding the title of Senior Electrical Engineer. In this role, responsibilities include developing scopes of work and managing construction for Energy Savings Performance Contracts across various sectors, including federal and state government facilities, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities, with expertise in electrical design, resiliency, renewable energy, energy storage, and EMCS controls engineering. Prior experience includes positions as an Electrical Engineer at Dominion Consulting Engineers, a Designer/CAD Operator at Miller Architects, a Design Engineer at Siemens Building Technologies, and a Nuclear Engineer Reactor Operator/Electronics Technician in the United States Navy. Michael Kennedy holds a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University, and additional education from the University of Cincinnati and Arizona State University.
