Germain Michel serves as a Board Member of the French American Hospitality and Gastronomy Association since March 2024 and is the owner of Amelie Wine Bar, established in September 2006, which has received accolades such as being listed among the Top 100 wine lists in America by OpenTable and recognized for the best wine list in San Francisco by 7 by 7. Michel also holds ownership of multiple establishments, including Amelie Cafe and Wine Bar, Amelie Wine Bar and Bakery, and Amelie Wine Bar Upper West Side, while contributing as a lead consultant at the Cal Poly CIE Small Business Development Center and as a beverage specialist at Northern California SBDC. In addition, Michel is a partner at Domaine du Somail, recognized for high-rated vintages by Robert Parker, and at Manera America, a kitesurf shop. Academic credentials include a professional license in marketing finance from Institut Universitaire Valence and certification as a Level 2 Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
