Zhaobing Tian has extensive experience in optical systems engineering, currently serving as a Senior Optical Systems Architect at Nokia. Previous roles include Staff Subsea Optical Engineer and Staff Optical Engineer at Infinera and Line Systems, respectively, as well as Subsea Optical Engineer and Optical System Designer at Ciena. Earlier career highlights include a position as Manager of Booking System and Research Assistant at the Photonics System Group at McGill University, along with an internship at Reflex Photonics. Zhaobing holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from McGill University and a Master's degree in Fiber Optics from Queen's University.
