P. Keali'i Thoene has extensive experience in community engagement, environmental conservation, and writing. Currently a Contributing Writer for NMG Network since 2020, Thoene also served as Co Lead at Vibrant Hawaiʻi, focusing on outreach and data analysis for educational interventions. As Community Program Manager at Terraformation Inc., Thoene facilitated significant community initiatives and managed a high school internship program for native Hawaiian youth. Previous roles include leadership in regenerative tourism, internships with the State of Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources, and supervisory positions in ecotourism. Thoene possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of San Francisco.
