Soenita Goerdayal has extensive experience in biochemical research, currently serving as a Research Specialist at NIZO since November 2018, where responsibilities include protein extraction from plant biomass and analytical techniques involving digestion and analysis of various products. Prior to this role, Soenita worked at Universiteit Utrecht for over a decade as a Senior Research Technician/Teacher, managing proteomics and cell culture labs, training students, and engaging in UHPLC-MS projects. Earlier positions include a Research Analyst at RIVM National Institute for Public Health, KREATECH Diagnostics, and as a Research Assistant at UMC Utrecht. Soenita holds a degree in Biochemistry from Hogeschool Utrecht and has foundational education in chemistry and secondary education.
