Kate Johnson is a Fisheries Scientist at NIWA since July 2023, with prior experience as a Lecturer at the University Centre Sparsholt from January 2019 to July 2023. Kate has also worked as an Associate Practitioner in Histopathology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust between September 2017 and January 2019, and as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in Histopathology at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2017. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences, a Master of Science in Biological Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Statistics, all obtained from The University of Auckland between 2005 and 2017.
