Julie Rea is a seasoned professional in health and safety management, currently serving as the National Health and Safety Manager at NIWA since August 2018. Prior to this role, Julie Rea held the position of Health and Safety Operations Manager at Z Energy Limited from August 2013 to July 2018 and worked as the Safety, Security, Health and Environmental Manager at Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited from February 1994 to August 2013. Julie Rea earned a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Canterbury, which was completed between 1988 and 1993, and completed high school at Christchurch Girls High School from 1983 to 1987.
