Prof. Rekha Chikhalkar has extensive experience in academia, serving as an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) since May 2009, where key contributions include the conceptualization and development of a postgraduate program aimed at enhancing industry competency and fostering national growth. Prior to that, Prof. Chikhalkar held the positions of Assistant Professor and Lecturer at NITIE from 1984 to 2009, with notable roles on the admissions committee and the editorial board of the journal ‘Udyog Pragati’. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the Consumer Education & Research Centre, where community studies contributed to impactful changes in consumer law. Prof. Chikhalkar holds a Fellow of NITIE degree in Service Industry and an MBA from B K School of Business Management.
