Randy Hommel began their career in 1996 as the Owner of RKH Technology. In 2014, they became an Application Engineer at Amazon.com. In 2015, they took on the role of Systems Engineer at the California Community Colleges Technology Center. In 2016, they moved to Infiniti Consulting Group as a Sr. Cloud Operations Engineer. In 2019, they joined InterVision Systems in the same role. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Sr. AWS DevOps Professional Engineer at Ninth Wave, a company that delivers secure data connectivity to financial institutions of all sizes.

Randy Hommel received an Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming from Foothill College in 1995. Randy has since obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (2020), AWS Certified Developer - Associate (2017), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (2017), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (2017), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (2016).
