Ed Wu is an accomplished executive in the gaming and technology industries, currently serving as SVP of Pok¨¦mon GO at Niantic, Inc. since October 2015, where leadership spans development and operations of the globally renowned game. Prior to this, Ed Wu was a staff software engineer at Google, focusing on the launch of Ingress, a groundbreaking geo-based mobile game. Ed Wu's experience also includes roles as an associate physical scientist at RAND Corporation, providing analysis for the US military, and as a graduate researcher at Stanford University, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics. Ed Wu holds an MBA with honors from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's in International Policy Studies, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
