Jeff Bootes has extensive experience in technical support, applications engineering, and sales within the automation and electrical engineering sectors. Currently holding the position of Senior Technical Support and Applications Engineer at Rockwell Automation since March 2019, Jeff also serves as a Technical Sales and Applications Engineer at NHP Electrical Engineering Products Pty Ltd and a Technical and Sales Support Engineer at Rexel Industrial Automation. Previous roles include Commercial Project and Applications Engineer at Rockwell Automation, where Jeff managed various marketing projects and supported the Kinetix Drives and Motion Business, and Field Service and Applications Engineer at Electro Craft. Jeff's educational background includes a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Power Electronics, Power Generation, and Gas Turbine Control Systems, obtained during service in the Royal Australian Navy from 1978 to 1982.
