Katie Vorel is an EHSQ Senior Manager at Nexus Circular since June 2022, previously serving as the Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager. With extensive experience in occupational health and safety, Katie held the Production & Safety Manager position at Scholle IPN from November 2016 to June 2022, where significant improvements in manufacturing performance and safety culture were achieved. Katie has also worked as an Environment, Health and Safety Manager at Supreme Corporation, a Safety and Training Officer for the City of Atlanta, and an Industrial Hygiene Intern at CSX. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University and a Master of Public Health in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health Science from Eastern Kentucky University.
