Kenneth M. Nielsen

Kenneth M. Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kenneth M. is currently working at Nexi Group as the Senior Vice President and Head of Group eCommerce Strategy & Transformation. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President and Head of Integration (PMI) & Transformation at Nexi/Nets, reporting to the Group CEO.

Before joining Nexi Group, Kenneth worked at Nets Group as the Vice President and Head of Infrastructure Transformation in the Group Technology department, reporting to the CIO. Kenneth M. also served as a Management Associate in Group IT Operations, where they were involved in strategic projects, strategy development, management support, and stakeholder management.

Earlier in their career, Kenneth worked at Geveko Markings as the Executive Management Assistant to the CEO. Kenneth M. also had a stint at KMD, where they worked as an Executive Assistant to the CFO and later as a Business Development Consultant in Group Strategy and M&A. In these roles, they were responsible for strategy execution, strategic projects, management support, and market analysis.

Kenneth has experience working at SKAT as a Business Controller, where they provided support to managers and senior vice presidents in making strategic and operational decisions. Kenneth M. was also part of a financial management project commissioned by the Ministry of Taxation.

Kenneth M. began their career at Maersk Broker as a Master Thesis Student & Ship Agent, where they conducted research on pre-integration planning in mergers & acquisitions. Kenneth M. later worked as an Operations Coordinator in an expat role.

Kenneth also has experience in the startup ecosystem, having worked at Venture Cup Denmark as the Regional Communication Manager and University Coordinator.

Lastly, Kenneth worked at Royal Unibrew as an Internal Sales Consultant.

Kenneth M. Nielsen completed their high school education in 2006 at Oure School of Sports & Performance, with a focus on handball. Kenneth M. then pursued further studies at TietgenSkolen from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in innovation. In 2009, they enrolled at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in HA. International Business. Kenneth continued their education at Copenhagen Business School from 2012 to 2015, earning a master's degree in International Marketing & Management (IMM). Additionally, in 2013, they attended Sun Yat-sen University - Lingnan (University) College for a brief period to pursue a second master's degree in International Business & Management.
