Priya Patel currently serves as a Physician Assistant at Marywood University since May 2019 and also works as a certified Medical Assistant for the orthopedic sports medicine division at Newport Orthopedic Institute since February 2016. Additionally, Priya has held a position as a Research Assistant at the University of California, San Diego Center of Brain and Cognition, focusing on synesthesia research. Previous experience includes a Sports Medicine Internship with the United States Olympic Committee, where responsibilities encompassed supervising athletes through rehabilitation and maintaining medical records. Priya also contributed as an Athletic Training Assistant at the USA Gymnastics Nationals, a Fitness Coordinator at Health Promotion Services, and received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant from Marywood University in 2021, following a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology and Neuroscience and Computer Science and Engineering from UC San Diego in 2015.
