Claudia Gomes is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as the Head of Nursing at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust since October 2022. In addition to this role, Claudia has been the Director of Gomes Health & Consultancy Services Ltd since January 2019. Claudia previously held the position of Head of Nursing at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London from June 2019 to October 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as Clinical Nurse Manager, Ward Manager, and Senior Staff Nurse at Nuffield Health from April 2013 to May 2019, as well as serving as a Staff Registered Nurse in general surgery at BMI Healthcare from September 2012 to April 2014. Claudia Gomes earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Nursing from Buckinghamshire New University between 1997 and 2000.
