Andrea Villasenor is an experienced educator and graphic designer with a diverse background in visual communication and design. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Northern Illinois University since January 2020, Andrea teaches courses on visual communication and graphic design. As a Senior Graphic Designer at The Newberry since June 2011, Andrea leads a creative team in establishing a consistent brand identity through various media. Previous instructional roles include positions at the International Academy of Design and Technology-Chicago and the American Academy of Art, where Andrea taught multiple design disciplines. With experience managing creative projects at Kaplan Professional and Andersen Consulting, Andrea combines a strong educational foundation with a robust professional career in graphic design. Education includes a BA in English, Art, and Philosophy from Cornell College, alongside studies at the American Academy of Art and Northwestern University.
