Lauren Beck is an accomplished professional in the fields of education, curriculum design, and user experience. Currently serving as a UX Dramaturg at the Museum of Us, Lauren collaborates with artists and museum staff on audio guide development. As a lecturer at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Lauren designs and teaches upper division interdisciplinary technology courses while actively soliciting student feedback for course improvement. In addition, Lauren works as a Subject Matter Expert and Content Creator at Outlier.org, producing engaging learning materials for College Writing I and II. Previous experience includes various roles at the University of New Haven, where Lauren adapted course formats and developed new content, and at Northwestern University, where Lauren taught writing and research courses. Lauren holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Theatre & Drama from Northwestern University, along with additional degrees and credentials in theatre and education.
